Round 8: Ruud van Meegen managed to win his game with white, whereas Moritz continued his drawing line. So in the last round both players need a draw for the norm, Ruud for IM and Moritz for GM.
Both players drew in round 7. So Ruud still needs at least 1 win and a draw i the remaining games, whereas Moritz just needs 2 more draws for the GM-norm.
FM Moritz Collin on his way to a GM-norm (7 out of 9). After round 6 he is in the lead with 5,5 points, an IM-norm in the pocket and a live rating of 2410 elo!!! Unfortunately I misinterpreted him yesterday, as this IM-norm will be his 2nd one. So he needs one more.
In the IM-group it is Ruud van Meegen who has the best chance for a norm with 4,5 of 6.
4 rounds of 9 are finished. In the GM-group FM Moritz Collin, who hopped in as a substitute, is now in the lead with 4 points in 4 rounds, clearly on his way to his 3rd IM-Norm (he needs 5 of 9) and even a GM-Norm (7 of 9) might be possible.
In the GM-group FM Emil Schuricht (3 of 4) is on his way to an IM-Norm (6,5 of 9).
