Das diesjährige Bezirkseinzelblitzen fand am 22. April beim SC Mülheim 08/25 in Broich statt. Es fanden sich insgesamt 24 Spieler aus allen 3 Mülheimer Vereinen zusammen. Das Feld war bunt gemischt, die jüngste Teilnehmerin war 10, der älteste Teilnehmer 76.
Dustin Kuipers (Mülheim-Nord) gab lediglich 2 Unentschieden ab und gewann mit 14 Punkten souverän. Auf Platz 2 folgte Ilja Ozerov (Mülheim-Nord), auf Platz 3 kam Dirk Viebahn (SC Mülheim 08/25) ins Ziel.
